Twisted Tales to Delight and Amaze

Tobar and Fleck

In the time of the Dark Sorcerers, villages were defended by Sky Marshals.

These squads included an armored fire dragon, an advanced scout dragon, and the team’s leader, who usually came from the Lizarian Tribes of the south.

Stationed throughout the land, Sky Marshals roughed it, meaning they slept and ate on the go. The Sky Marshal Eastern Sector of Tobar and Fleck was the most well-known team.

Tobar had fought many battles but was defeated once when ambushed by the dark forces of Ukthar the Black and his orc minions. He lost his Marshal and Scout during the fight and has carried the burden since.

Fleck is the unit’s youngest member, but her skill and intuition have saved the Marshal dozens of times. Tobar affectionately refers to her as Little Sister.

Not much is known about the Sky Marshal, not even his name. After Ukthar’s victory, he appeared with Fleck and took control of the Eastern sector.

When the dark sorcerers attack a village, a signal flare indicates danger and calls the Sky Marshal into action. In minutes, Fleck is on-site gathering information on troop strength and, if possible, which sorcerer is attacking.

Tobar and the Marshal arrive moments later and engage the forces until all are destroyed, or they flee through gate portals opened by the sorcerers.

Tobar’s arrogance caused the death of his Scout and Marshal when, against orders, he followed the enemy through the portal.

Outnumbered and in unknown territory, the unit barely escaped. The Scout and Sky Marshall’s injuries were too severe, and they succumbed within the day.

Tobar has always remembered that the Marshal leads, and no amount of strength can equal an experienced Marshal.

For now, the team enjoys a break before dawn and another patrol with the possibility of ending this damn war.
