A Wee Door in the Wood

A Wee Door in the Wood

In the wildwood lives a tiny man in a tree with a wee little door.

You will find him eating his tea and cakes.

In the evenings, he sits outside watching the setting sun.

Then, late-night walks to gather moonberries and marshmallow pies.

On Saturdays, he eats gooseberry pie with lemon twists by the lake.

He bars his wee door tight at night, keeping out the beasties that roam when the stars are out.

If you ever travel to the wildwood, search for the little man. Find his wee door on the side of a tree. He’ll invite you in for tea and cakes.
