Twisted Tales to Delight and Amaze

Be Gone Outlander

“Be gone! Take your foul stench and leave this valley,” cried the old goblin.

Terick was tired of dealing with the outlanders. He was weary of their smell and their greed for his gold.

Long ago, before the Umans came to the valley, Terick lived at peace with the land. He never took more than he needed and often gave back more than he took.

“Worse than Sardonian mud sloths. Why can’t they leave me alone?” said the goblin.

Terick kept a Gartok Gnasher to help scare away the outlanders. Its bark was worse than its bite, but the outlander vermin didn’t know that.

After a fierce argument with an outlander, the goblin decided he had enough.

“Droog, we’re leaving, and I’m taking down the cave to stop the scum from defiling the land,” Terick muttered.

Terick gathered his few possessions. Then he set an explosive charge to bring the entire cave down.

“Droogy me boy, it’s time we said goodbye,” said Terick

A scouting party triggered the charge, which brought the mountain down upon them.

“He He He. The fools will become treasure in a few thousand years. Let that be a lesson to your greedy ways,” cried the goblin when he heard the blast.

Terick and Droog now enjoy peace in the middle of a bog far from any outlander or scouting party.

“Nice place we have here, Droogy,” said the goblin with a wry smile.
