Ying-Chen awoke to the sound of rain tapping against her window. “How wonderful to hear such music which will soon wake the sleeping earth,” the girl said. Today was the beginning of Yurshui, and Ying-Chen had big plans. She rose, dressed, and ate a warm breakfast to give her energy for the day’s adventure. As Ying-Chen stepped outside, the crisp, cool air filled her lungs. Walking to the river, she stopped to listen to the wild geese returning overhead. The girl walked along the riverbank until she spotted fish swimming upstream to their spawning grounds. Ying-Chen headed to the forest where she counted the shoots sprouting from the ground. “I am glad the rain will soak your roots so you may grow strong,” the girl remarked. Ying-Chen loved the rain, and Yushui always made her feel alive and ready for the next challenge in life.
雨點輕敲窗櫺，盈辰在細碎的聲音中醒來。「多美的樂音啊，它將喚醒沉睡的大地，」她低聲說。今日正是雨水的開端，盈辰心中早有計畫。她起身、梳洗，吃下一頓溫暖的早餐，讓身體蓄滿迎接一天冒險的力量。走出門外，清冽微涼的空氣湧入胸腔。她沿著小徑來到河邊，抬頭傾聽野雁振翅歸來的聲音，在天際回響。沿著河岸前行，她看見魚兒逆流而上，回到孕育生命的源頭。走進森林，她細數著破土而出的嫩芽，輕聲呢喃：「願這場雨滋潤你們的根，讓你們茁壯成長。」盈辰喜歡雨。雨水時節，總讓她感到如大地一樣在雨水的洗滌中甦醒，準備好迎接生命的下一場挑戰。
