Twisted Tales to Delight and Amaze

A Parting Farewell

“You were the best grave digger and friend a man could ask for,” William said.

When it was time to plant a corpse, the two friends enjoyed themself trading amusing tales.

“I’ll keep an eye on Molly, make sure she has enough to eat,” his friend said.

“I only wish it was me in that pine box, seeing I don’t have no one anyhow. I guess we’ll meet again soon enough,” William said.

The digger moved the earth back into the hole. When he finished, he rounded the top, gathered his tools, and walked to the cemetery gate.

“You were a good friend, Bill, and my heart aches to see you gone. Hope the angels are treating you well,: said William, then turned and walked home alone.
